Motivational Kino Makoto believes you can do it!
My hand slipped and I drew her muscular and with thick eyebrows and really talented by accident but I think I have no regrets?
This week’s post spotlight goes to this adorable fan art by alicekaninchenbau!
I love that this looks like a motivational poster. I think that Makoto was the perfect choice of character to be on such a poster! She’s always cheering everyone on, and she has so many wonderful dreams and goals.
Your art style is very unique and I personally love that you made Makoto muscular. It just adds to the effect, and suits Makoto’s character very well!
I’m glad you have no regrets, because for making something so wonderful, you certainly shouldn’t! I would love to see more works like this. Keep up the good work!

My princess serenity cosplay!!!!
This week’s post spotlight goes to these lovely cosplay images of kichankirako!
I think you look absolutely adorable in this cosplay! I feel like I really am looking at Serenity herself. Your poses are very sweet and the costume and wig both look gorgeous. It also seems like you are very excited to be in this cosplay and that’s something we love to see! Because the best part of cosplay is having fun and getting to imagine yourself as part of one of your favourite shows.
I can see some anime and manga merchandise and posters in the background of your pictures too, and I can’t help but think that if such a thing existed in her time, Serenity’s room would look much the same! I spotted a poster with Chibiusa and Hotaru in the second last image too— how cute!
Thank you for sharing your cosplay, I hope you enjoyed wearing it as much as we all enjoy seeing it!
This week’s Tumblr Spotlight is Mary Bichner!!
Mary Bichner is a very unique kind of blogger, and Sailor Moon fan!! Mary Bichner and the Planetary Quartet play Sailor Moon themed songs, and play Sailor Moon themed concerts!!!
Their EP is coming out in a couple of months, so make sure to check’em out!!
Here at the Silver Crystal Community, we set out to thank people for outstanding contribution the fandom, and to shine a spotlight on those who may be having a hard time finding it themselves
However, it is important to also thank the “bigger” blogs.
Jetwolf, KeyofNik, is one of THE MOST dedicated Sailor Moon bloggers of them all. Everyday, she’s either playing Sailor-Moon-Sims, doing liveblogs, writing her famous Between the Lines, her Goggles days, and so much more!!!
Let’s face it, a lot of the fandom content here on Tumblr originates from Ms. Jetwolf. And for that, we’d like to take this opportunity to thank her for her contributions to the Sailor Moon fandom! ^.^
That’s why KeyofNik is this week’s Tumblr Spotlight!!!!
im working on designing a new modern wardrobe for the sailor moon cast just for kicks :P here are the sketches so far
sorry its messy
This week’s post spotlight goes to these awesome redesigns by dahaebaik!
It looks like you had a lot of fun making these! And you did a great job. Even though you apologize for the sketches being messy, I don’t think they’re messy at all! In fact, the quick and sketchy lines add to the effect— I feel like I’m looking at fashion designs by a famous designer!
One of the things we really like to encourage is creativity and using your imagination to contribute to the Sailor Moon fandom in new and exciting ways. And I think you definitely succeeded in that! I would love to see more of these designs.
asked: Thank you so much for your kind words and for featuring my artwork! And I'm glad I found your blog, I love it!
you are absolutely welcome! Thank you so much for the message, and please continue to share your art with the world because it is beautiful!

This week’s post spotlight goes to this gorgeous art by zombienomph!
I think the part that struck me most about this image was the detail in the eyes. I love that you put stars and sparkles in her eyes, it makes her feel very magical and mysterious! I also love how this connects to her association with the moon, outer space, and the shine of starlight. It’s wonderful imagery and makes her seem so complex, like she’s got something deep going on within herself.
I also love the style of the whole work! It feels sort of like it belongs in a comic book or web series! You have a lovely artistic style. The contour lines makes it look very confident and effortless, though I’m sure you worked very hard to make this beautiful work!
Good job! Thank you for sharing your art.

Princess Chibi Usa and Helios ACEO by theNekk
This week’s post spotlight is this sweet artwork by thenekk!
I love the style of this piece, the confident contour lines, and the expressions on their faces! I think you did a wonderful job of capturing a bit more of a grown up version of this couple! I actually haven’t seen very much art of these pairings lately so it was nice to find some in the tag again.
Your colouring style also seems so unique, and I think that’s part of what I love about this art! Your strokes are very visible, but that doesn’t detract from the piece at all, in fact it makes it seem almost effortless and natural. These days I think we’re all so used to seeing so much digital art, so I thought it would be nice to highlight some traditional media this week!
I hope you continue to share your artwork, it is a joy to look at!
